Afrobeat Night

Mr Bogle’s Afrobeat Night at O’Sullivans Cergy

An Afrobeat Night Around Paris?

ho said that these kinds of nights could only be found in the Caribbean or Jamaica? It’s true, after all, Cergy might not have the sun of Kingston or the beautiful beaches of Santo Domingo, but when it comes to organizing musical evenings, we know what we’re doing.

That’s why we decided to organize this monthly evening at your favorite student bar, named after one of the greatest Jamaican dancers of all time: Mr Bogle.

But who exactly was this Mr Bogle?

Gerald Levy, aka Bogle, Bogle Dancer, Mr Bogle, Father Bogle, and Mr Wacky, is a Jamaican dancehall dancer and choreographer, a variant of reggae. He is primarily one of the greatest founding figures of the Afrobeat musical phenomenon!
