ARE YOU READY TO RENTREE ??? Version Originale

Well here we are folks – its almost the RENTREE in France – and as some of you may well know ‘la Rentrée ( meaning The RETURN)’ is what the French commonly call the massive flashback to reality , traffic jams , stressed out train journeys , the  chaotic few days of getting back from hols , facing the 200million unanswered emails in work , trying to hold on to that precious tan that you’ve worked so hard on for all most a month and pretending that the grey skies and not so hot weather in the city isn’t getting you down at all –

Nothing short of  anti depressants may be required for some just to get through it –  In fact  we’re amazed that a horror movie hasn’t been made about it all ……( If I knew how to do sound effects – there’d be a scary monster scream every time you swept your cursor over the word RENTREE – but alas …..)

So instead  we’ve been busy preparing a couple of entertaining nights out here at O’Sullivans to help take your mind off all that “Rentrée” Jazz ;;

The whole world will be joining us ( ok – we’ll be joining the rest of the world -, you’ve got to think big) in celebrating Arthur Guinness day on September 23^rd – and just so the experience will be a pleasant one for all concerned we’re running a  Win a trip to Ireland promotion in conjunction with Guinness in the following bars from September 16^th – 23^rd :

And on the night of the 23^rd , to celebrate the fact that Guinness is 251 years old **– ( in case some of you haven’t had the pleasure of tasting this world famous brown ale) – there’ll be tasters for everyone & collectors glasses given out in the bars too.

** Please note that the Guinness served on the night is not 251 years old – its fresh out of the factory !!!!

And for those of you who just need a couple of days more sun or a mini break to help you take on the Rentree ( We hope we’re not scaring you too much ) – its sunny till October  at O’Sullivans by the beach – our hotel bar on the cote D’azur. Newly refurbished rooms and self catering appartments ,  a rocking bar facing the port & chateau of Mandelieu la Napoule are waiting for you ..
